I know I know. I've listened to that clip like 20 times and I still can't make out what Benn said to Schenn before giving him a boost.

I think he said “I got you [indiscernible]” - definitely heard “I got you”

One of my critiques of Kyrou is how his production can be inconsistent. In his last 21 games, he has 18 points (11g/7a) and points in all, but 4 games. And 14 of his points are during even-strength. This is what we want from him. Game to game consistency with both goals and assists.

Agreed. Also since October he hasn't gone more than a game without registering a point. He had two streaks in October of three games each.

Duchene said after the game that Schenn is friends with a lot of the guys in Dallas and that they all had a good laugh about it.

Those two in particular are very close.

Dallas is the only team, other than maybe Utah, in our division that I would not need to throw up in my mouth if they won

Regarding Kyrou, he has played 10 games under Monty and has 7 goals, 2 assists, and a +2 in that time frame. I would like to see a few more assists, but his goal scoring is much needed on a team without a "true sniper."

if he plays with Thomas, Thomas passes the puck right back to him and if he plays with Schenn, Schenn has really good shot but he is having a bad year so far on his shooting %, so Kyrou might as well just shoot for now

I mean, he's one of only two players on the team that actually shoot the puck. I think him and Holloway make up about 20-30% of all shots that Blues take
