I figured SMU was going to pull it out, even down 2-0 after 40….but having the GWG goal in OT waved off and then having the Huskies bank one in off the defenseman’s skate for the winner is brutal. Fully expect this series to get wrapped up on Friday.

When you are the underdog you need to win those games. I'd be surprised to see a game 3 as well.

If you were to give SMU one of the Moncton goalies they would be the clear number 2 team in the AUS.

Second that...expecting SMU to close things out on Friday as well

On the UPEI side, I'm not convinced this formula they have going works. Apart from some bad puck luck in G1, there's not a whole lot of regular season Ws to show for and certainly not much to speak of come playoff time (unless you count their QF win vs Calgary in 23). At the end of last season I would've said that this years Panthers team could've been a true middle of the pack that was competitive for 3rd place, just not seeing it with where we're at.

We'll see what happens Friday! AUS is a strange beast
