When arrogance delivers mediocrity.
They do dumb shit like this every year. Lose a ton, then win a ton, fans get excited about a playoff push, they lose the games that matter, finish 4-8 points out.Don't let the Sabres get hot
It's quite funny, you knew this was going to happen. But right now most of Toronto media and fans are again in "lock him up, whatever it takes" -mode regarding Marner.Pyrrhic victory.

Sam Girard likes your post. The fact that DeBrincat was in a real cozy situation with Ottawa on the rise and forced his way to Detroit only to land with an incredibly old roster that has Andrew Copp and J.T Compher fighting over who the worse center for the 2nd line is warms my heart.
Not that Ottawa is anything special, but I think they have clearly identified a direction, have a path to pursuing it and likely make the playoffs this season provided goaltending holds up.
Detroit is going to miss the playoffs for the forseeable future.
We can laugh now. The burden has been passed. At least one other fan base truly understands the meaning of Fourgiev now.
He's so bad it's sti hilarious when he's on a different team.
I mean, them with Georgiev is like us with Elliott. It got us Landeskog, it might get them Schaefer, Hagens, Misa, etc.At least one other fan base truly understands the meaning of Fourgiev now.

What burden? Sharks are gunning for a top 3 pick this draft. The Sharks acquiring Fourgiev is basically the same as the Avs trading for Patrick Roy in 1995 in terms of getting closer to team goalsWe can laugh now. The burden has been passed.
I’m sure the Sharks fans understand this, but it’s likely still painful AF to watch. What burden? Sharks are gunning for a top 3 pick this draft. The Sharks acquiring Fourgiev is basically the same as the Avs trading for Patrick Roy in 1995 in terms of getting closer to team goals
their GDTs are already generating some admirable hater energyI’m sure the Sharks fans understand this, but it’s likely still painful AF to watch.
Don’t blame them one bit.their GDTs are already generating some admirable hater energy
Ottawa made a very good trade this summer when they shipped Chychrun to Wash gor Jensen and a pick. Lost the trade on paper, but made their D much more balanced and better, despite losing Zub to injury. They lost the trade solidly "on paper", but really it was a win-win.The fact that DeBrincat was in a real cozy situation with Ottawa on the rise and forced his way to Detroit only to land with an incredibly old roster that has Andrew Copp and J.T Compher fighting over who the worse center for the 2nd line is warms my heart.

I was hoping for the sun
What did the moon do to deserve that?
If he's wearing the catcher he'll miss the moon too
It's like he knows he's screwed up but just can't admit it... to himself even.
