That bruins team isn’t very good this year but going from Monty to Sacco is gonna sink that ship even faster, there’s better options then him out there

Well, as someone else pointed out they're likely backing the Brinks Truck full of cash onto Joel Quenneville's driveway.

I'll give Sweeney credit, at least he wasn't a dick and left Monty twisting in the wind like Rutherford did with Boudreau. Once you've decided to fire a guy, fire him and just put an interim in his place. Don't negotiate behind his back.

Why do NHL teams have to be so f***ing weird and obtuse when someone is going to miss time? If you are hurt, it's not a personal leave of absence. It seems like everything has to be shrouded in mystery. I am fully onboard with players with mental health or substance or other non-hockey issues not having to declare what's wrong, but if this is a LOA due a shoulder thing, there's a thing for that, I forget what it's called... L...as Vegas?

Very true but they don’t have the time to sit on there hands and wait, like I said gerard gallant would probably be a way better option and you don’t have the hoops to jump though like you’ll have to deal with in Quenneville, just another distraction with the media when that guy gets back

Dude hurt his shoulder and going on IR and it's called a personal leave of absence?

Isn't that just a hockey injury?

Oh no, Gallant would be the absolute WORST choice they could make, they just fired the guy who took a hardnosed approach with the players. They need to try someone who's more of a players' guy, like Boudreau or Quenneville.

And really, the Bruins don't give a f*** about "distractions," this is the team that publicly forced Jeremy Swayman back to the negotiation table and also for no reason signed Mitchell Miller to a contract (which I believe they're still paying).

Hahahahahaha Joe Saccotatoes back as head coach, I love it!!! (Since it's not with the Avs)

I think that team will have a resurgence at least initially since Montgomery seems to have really alienated the guys on that team...probably said some stuff you can't come back from.

You can have your take on gallant, guy get everything out his players tho. The swayman contract both parties have to take it on the chin there. They have the bruin way and swagman wanted his money. The bruins looked bad when the number came out but swayman hasn’t played handy to 8.5 million. The team is screwed they have no offence other than pasta and Marchand looks old this year. Monty wasn’t the problem regardless his record was 120-41-23 for a .714 point percentage that’s crazy
