The Hawks/Stars game makes me feel better about the Tampa debacle. A nice reminder that even good teams will take a giant shit some nights. At least we didn't do it against the last place team in the league.
Oh no, I remember plenty of people freaking the f*** out over that, especially after Roy’s tirade.
And people should be more upset about Roy, that was just a silly thing to call him out over. And yes I know you and few others on here disagree with that and that’s fine.
That was pretty much the beginning of the end of Duchene in Colorado. No going back after that. Both sides soured on each other after that.

Columbus firmly out of a playoff spot, Werenski well back of Makar for points. Checks out.
Roy is a trash coach. What has he done to Dobson and Sorokin - the two best players on that team…
Werenski has a poor Columbus team in the hunt playing exceptional 2 way hockey. averaging over a point a game and leading his team in scoring.
Makar isn't playing well defensively and has a bunch of pp points.

Makar has been far and way the best defenseman in the NHL this year. In all zones.
Columbus would trade two or three Werenskis for one Makar.

I'm going to say something about a thing I've noticed on here the past few weeks. Lots of you seem to be having arguments about... plus minus? And other extremely tenuous, moronic arguments about defensive worth of players. I can't see why or how you're having these arguments but it would be a much nicer place if you all stopped it.

Trading Kakko now would be a f***ing giant mistake from the on ice perspective. It might happen because of the contractual situation. Guy has looked like a #2C for the last few games.
I’m curious, if Zibanejad and Kakko are the top centers, what are Trocheck and Chytil the Beetle doing?
