2024 2025 Around the League Part 2

Crazy. So if the Habs lose to the Hurricanes in regulation and the Jackets beat both the Flyers and Islanders in regulation, Columbus gets in.

No one to blame but themselves. Canadiens got stomped by the Sens, stomped by the Leafs on Saturday in what should have been a blowout, and now lose to the Hawks.

They have been running on fumes for a month+. Won 6 straight games but they were the worst team on the ice in all those games. That team has no 2nd line, the fact that they are even in this position is close to a miracle.

Hockey is a weird game, you would think the desperate to win playoff team would be able to win especially against the crappy shit hawks.

Guess there's no guarantees in hockey!.. minus the Leafs playoff choke every year

Not a bad first NHL game…

His center is Newhook (and he sucks) and the other wing is Armia who's injured (he's playing with one hand). Demidov carried that line from the wing.

If they want to fully unlock his potential they'll have to find him a good center next summer. Not an easy task.

Zegras is my guess...they had a deal in place for him at the last draft.

Yeah, I watched. He was very dangerous off the rush. Forget which D it was he absolutely burned with a hesitation move and then exploded around him wide. Sent a pass across the crease that somebody couldn’t convert on.

Found his quick passing on the PP kind of weird, would’ve liked to see him rip a one timer on net.

Also stands around defensively and leaving the zone early(like he did for his goal) but that’s to be expected from a Russian rookie.

He plays with lots of confidence, believes he’s the best player on the ice and wants to make shit happen. Very impressive.
