Honestly, I prefer trashbin over Perry. Perry skating right to trashbin and accidentally on purpose hitting him in the head definitely warranty a blocker shot to the head.

Close one, but I think I agree.

Some people say Perry is a good guy, but I'm not sure I'm buying it. I think people might just say that because it's the expectation to say that about a vet like Perry.

He looks more like a guy who goes home and tortures animals in his free time.

Opening the gate for no reason tonight as Schenn was about to get hit was dirty af. His back went right into the pointed corner. He's got a lengthy history of just mean spirited dirty shit like that trying to hurt people.

Flames are done. I think they had to win until they played the Wild, then beat the Wild. Then they would control their own destiny.

Now even if they win their game in hand and game vs Minny they need help.

Playoffs all but finalized.
True.

Calgary just not good enough to catch the Blues or Wild...

Even if both of them lose out, i full expect Calgary to shit the bed too.....

I completely agree, but it would be epic if the Blues go on that 12 game run and still miss the playoffs by losing out

Mother f***er still deserves the most epic of beatdowns.
Yeah, Perry skates in and accidentally on purpose contacts his head, but he was trying to jam the puck in the net off the rebound. However, Trash Bin gets up, sucker punches him in the side of head with his back turned, and then crosschecks him in the back of the head and slams his entire body wight on him as he is lying in a heap. Then, when Perry gets up and wants to go, Trash Bin throws a wild left, coming out of the scrum with his teammate holding Perry up, and then hides behind the Linesman and skates away.

I think we all know what happens to him if he drops the gloves with Perry. He gets his face caved in. As would be the case with pretty much anyone else he actually had the balls to fight. Dude is 6'2" and 170 lbs with all his gear on. He's the Kirk Maltby of goaltenders.

Is this bad?

Did he try to shove the ref out of the way? Yes, absolutely. Did he mean for THAT to happen in the process? No way. 10 games? Seems a little stiff. Guys intend to injure other players all the time and get measly 1-2-3 games. I know it's an official, and you can't do that, but I don't think that was as bad as it looks.

Wtf. What is he even thinking there? Like I get he's maybe just trying to move him out of the way but that's like punching someone in the face in order to stop them from walking into a door or something.
To me, it looks like he was thinking "forecheck, be physical" and saw somebody in his way out of the corner of his eye. He was looking the other way the whole time. That kind of shove wouldn't even register to a hockey player ready for contact, but the ref isn't expecting it so he gets Wile E. Coyoted into the boards. You can see the player realizing he f***ed up while the ref is still in the air.

Still though, Beckman needs to pay more attention, and the suspension is perfectly justified even if it was an accident.
