2024 2025 Around the League Part 2

Rangers defense yikes. They give up so many easy cross crease tap in goals. Surprised Kucherov didn’t get more than 3 points

Wild. Dead man walking

(Yes, it is an image cause I found it on reddit, a bunch of the subs banned twitter links and I don’t use twitter to go chase down the original)

Byfield might not ever be an amazing player, but holy f*** he's going to have a highlight reel compilation when his career is done. Just scored GOTY today.
I think hes fantastic and going to get better. I think he went on like a 7 game goal streak earlier. I know this because guy in my league kept bringing it up that he drafted him with the last pick haha.

Good....They deserve it.

Imagine having no problem to attract every f***ing star from UFA or trade and still win nothing in over 30 years.......
Got an elite superstar winger and arguably the best NCAA FA in history as their franchise defenseman and still couldn't do shit with it. Not to mention they somehow developed a legit franchise netminder right after the previous franchise netminder (whom they squandered in criminal fashion) retired.

First overall and second overall pick, also a 7th overall and 9th overall going back to 2017...didn't come up with shit. And no one try saying Lafreniere might yet still figure it out--he's good, but not the franchise cornerstone they needed him to be.

We might be seeing the last of John Tortorella (I doubt it though), maybe Lindy Ruff, but I also wonder if we're seeing the end of Peter Laviolette. Some of these guys can only be recycled so many times before they just finally peter out like Alain Vigneault did a while back.

Lastly, only a matter of time before there's new J.T. Miller drama. I don't envy the next coach who's gotta head in there.

Potential JT Miller drama is the least of their concerns. Lafreniere took a big step back, Panarin went from 120 to 80 points, Igor is nowhere near the franchise goalie that he was before signing that contract and Fox is looking like a middle pairing guy.

I highly doubt everyone fell off a cliff at the same time.

Drury has to go.

So does Laviolette.
