2024 2025 Around the League Part 2

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the 2019 series against the Sharks, Carl Soderberg was our 2C.

In the 2024 series against Dallas, Casey Mittelstadt was our 2C.

The only time Bednar has faced DeBoer on even footing with a team that was capable of going anywhere was 2021. DeBoer isn't 3-0 versus Bednar, he's 1-0.
And in 2021 Tyson Jost was our 2C since Kadri missed the entire series

Stars have been seemingly been outshot and for the most part outplayed the last few games. The thing that's keeping them in is good goaltending and elite finishers. A little bit of a scary combination.

With the way our season is going and how good things are right now. I just can't fathom losing to these guys in the 1st round. Must win at all cost. It feels like one of the important series since the SCF. There's just so much at stake. I'm already nervous.

Must have been something bad since he got punished by the new coach. He dressed and didn't play a single shift.

My buddy, huge PHI fan, said that York dressing was a both a Briere decision, as well as something to do with not having enough call ups or something, with injuries, they need players to I think meet the min roster size for a game.

Stars have the worse roster going into the series so with this logic if they lose that doesn't count.

Yeah, Friedman mentioned that in today's 32T. You only have four callups post-deadline (I think that's how he put it) and Philly already used up all of theirs, and just disciplining a guy doesn't justify an emergency callup. So yeah, York had to dress even though he was essentially a healthy scratch.

Didn't know whatever happened to warrant the punishment was THAT extreme though.

Tbf Mitts was actually really good in the playoffs last year.

Did he have to sit on the bench the whole night like a sad boy? Or did he just hang out in the locker room?

I freaking love Torts... but that man should never have been given more than 2 years with any team.

I imagine he's done now and would love to see him get picked up by TNT or ESPN for studio work.
It's like he gets angrier with each subsequent job. He's going to be the friggin' Hulk next year if he gets a gig.
