2024 2025 Around the League Part 2

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Dallas already up 2 and the Wild will likely beat Buffalo.

Kind of a must win for the Avs tonight. If they lose and the other 2 win their games the Avs are actually closer to getting passed by Minny then catching Dallas.

The great play lately hasn't resulted in very much breathing room still. Central is tight.

We aren't catching Dallas. "Worst" case scenario we face Vegas or Edmonton instead of Dallas in round 1.

Avs shouldn't care about points right now, they should only care about chemistry and playing well.

Edmonton will be tough than Dallas? I really don’t think so. Oilers depth and goaltending sucks

That’s actually called best case scenario, not worst case scenario.

The scenario is from the perspective of the person or group experiencing it. So, for the Avs, the best case scenario is facing Edmonton. The worst case scenario is Dallas.

I know, actually both wildcard spots are easier paths than 3rd in the central.

Rangers won the President's Trophy last year and now they might very well miss the playoffs. They have gotten one year worse. It can happen when you have a bunch of 30+ players all having a career year.

IMO Dallas and Vegas are pretty equal as far as difficulty of opponent for the Avs. Then there is everybody else, but eventually you have to go through one or both of those teams to win the west

If Heiskanen is still out by then, I'd want to face Dallas 1st while that is still the case.

What happened with the Rags this year is fascinating.

Their locker room rebelled against their GM after he decided to go after well liked vets like Trouba and Kreider.

I don't recall this happening before.

Been torn over this forever. Pacific bracket sounds preferable to the Central one. However with the Heiskanen injury if we have to play Dallas, would rather see them in round 1 than 3

Philly scored 2. Its a tie. Refs calling everything on Philly. Phantom hook to end the second. Its like they want Dallas to win.

Shots are 22-4 Canucks halfway through and it's 1-1.

The Rangers are so lucky they have Shesterkin. That is a bad hockey team. Do not want to see them in the playoffs. Rather up-and-coming young, exciting teams like Ottawa and Montreal make it.
CMac should convince them that the solution to their problems is to trade Braden Schneider to the Avs.

DeBoer gave hand job to refs before the game. Sorry couldn’t help my self..

Hope this isn’t infraction worthy. I already received one couple of days ago
