2024 2025 Around the League Part 2

JFC how long have you been waiting to write this? Guy has been sucking ass for nearly 2 years and now he has a couple of good games and all of a sudden he's back and no one should have doubted that? Even Kiviranta can have a hot streak.

Let's revisit this topic in a month, at the very least.
OK, you have a month to keep telling yourself that. ;)

Buddy are you talking about 15 goal superstar Kiwiranta? Parker Kelly deserved this stray

Edmonton up 1-0 and… *checks*… yep, Drai obviously in on the goal.

1 point behind MacK now who has gone pointless for the past 3 games.

Drai likely ties and/or passes MacK tonight.

Goddamn useless Seattle Sea Slugs
Nothing more than absolute disdain for that organization. The gall to claim Alaska as part of their "broadcast" area. Like hell they broadcast this far. I've got all of Canada and three NHL teams closer to me than Seattle.

The only thing the Kraken have done is take all of the wrong players from teams at the expansion draft. Them taking JTC over Donskoi could have had major implications on our '22 cup run.

Drai has been playing with Podkolzin, Arvidsson, and recently Perry. He absolutely deserves the Hart. Hellebuyck probably should get a fair amount of love too. MacK has been awesome, hopefully he can win the Art Ross.

No doubt I think he deserves the Hart, but his second and third most common linemates at 5v5 this season are Connor McDavid and Zach Hyman.

He's had a seemingly revolving door of linemates because the Oilers can't seem to figure out what works up front this season.

Boy did that team ever make a big time error last offseason going from Holloway, Broberg, McLeod, and Foegele to Skinner, Arvidsson, Henrique, and Emberson. Traded away fast, skilled, and (mostly) big for old, slow, and small.

I didn’t realize he’s played that much with Hyman/McDavid.

The roster decisions that team have made are just puzzling.

Blackout zones need to be outlawed entirely. With the collapse of the cable TV market and the rise of streaming, I think that'll happen pretty soon.

Try living in Seattle and wanting a team for decades only to get this.

I really can't understand why he was such a prize at the deadline. I was a big fan of his when he was in Columbus, he was an absolute workhorse and a true two-way threat as a #1. But his tenure in Chicago has just been a steady downward decline. I totally get that the team was trying to disintegrate itself for Bedard, but every season he's looked worse and worse to the eye test.

It's kind of insane to me that there was enough of a bidding war for his rental services to get Florida to offer a good young goalie and a first round pick. I get why they had to let Knight go, but I feel like they should have gotten a much bigger return for him.
