100%. Literally the main thing missing in Detroits rebuild is C depth. Larkin is awesome but after that it's a gong show. If you could add EP40 and get him going that'd do wonders for the Yzerplan. But it's also a pretty major risk.

Yeah, it's a huge risk, but they're locked into trying to compete with this core, and they're not getting a shot at a player with that kind of upside in the draft for a long time.

With him even being a PPG guy they'd have the horses in the right spots, and while expensive, JTC as your 3rd line center is pretty good.

Larkin could still be the matchup guy too.

Yeah, he's been horrendous this season. It's almost like us hitching our wagon to Georgiev.

Stephen Valiquette did a deep dive into Skinner and found that when he gets time to set in the zone, he can be great. However, off the rush he's not NHL caliber at all. He gets picked apart with ease because he struggles to read plays and move.

Interesting to see if they pursue a goalie.
