Ovi hat trick. He's going for it this season.

I really hope he gets to 900 instead of stopping at 895

7 picks in, what is currently, the top 49 of the draft. I hope they have a good scouting department.
They used to be quite good at drafting, don't know how good they are now (probably still way better than the Avs). Their problem back in the day wasn't that they couldn't develop good talent, they just got so impatient they traded that talent away for diminishing returns. I mean, look at all the players they handed off to Cup-winners over the years (Justin Williams, Patrick Sharp, Mike Richards, Jeff Carter, Sergei Bobrovsky, etc.).

There are two Elias Petterssons in Vancouver. One has 7 shots this month, one has 4. Which one do you think is the rookie Dman and which do you think is the prized forward.

Dallas wins again. 8 points ahead of the Avs with 2 games in hand.

Can forget about catching then.

Minny 4 points up with 2 games in hand.

Vancouver 5 points back with 2 games in hand.

Calgary 6 points back with 3 games in hand.
Miss the playoffs, get healthy, fire Bednar, fix the bottom 6, and then cry because we wasted another year of prime MacK and Makar.

Don't even have to really fix them. You just have to quit asking them to play like our top line for f***'s sake and maybe act like either an energy or checking line for crying out loud.

Bednar gives all ice time that is left to the guys who play perfect defense.

Seeing Colton look like he found Nuke's stash was interesting, and in the fkn third period of a back to back.

I couldn't stop thinking it was some sort of drunken dream state images in my head, but @Bender noticed the same thing lol.

If you ask Ross, I'd bet he'd tell you he's worried he'd get benched for playing like that on the third or fourth line.

Players in the top 5 are given latitude and Bednar's time and grace. Players that are not, do not.

Where is the team that takes risks, and just tries to limit the shots to ones the goalie has a high chance of stopping?

This team has never been one looking to be number one in the NHL defensively.

You have a goalie that thrives on high shot volume but you're still trying to play keep the other team to 15 shots/60 chess.

We're surprised when we get scored on with low shot totals lol. The team opened it up after the goalies were changed out, and wow, we were good for a minute.

Bednar doesn’t take their creativity away, but he plays whoever plays better defensively the most lol.

Hmmmmmmm, say one thing, do another. No one is going to listen to anything you say anymore.

They played like total f***in dog shit against Nashville.
