Right up there with the time we got Vrbata voted as the fan favorite for the Hart (?) on ESPN's site. They somehow accidently had Radim listed with the other potential candidates and we had folks with dozens of tabs on firefox open continuously spamming votes for him until they finally took him off the list. He was in the lead at that point though.

Honestly though. Svatos and Vrbata brought me a ton of joy.

Vrbata... was trending up and we traded him for a member of the BBC line. Problem being, the member we got was the absolute passenger Bates f'in Battaglia.

Rod was never an option, but Erik Cole is the main character in one of my favorite NHL clips....


That high-five with the ref calling the goal is just sublime!

As for Marek though.. Dude was a f***ing lion but unfortunately his body couldn't withstand the punishment he was willing to take. Absolutely fearless in front of the net. His death though, was just one more big "wake the f*** up moment" for the NHL that was ignored.

I have no idea what that means but those were the actual words said. I’m assuming people are telling Friedman he’s not injured.

Dhaliwal said the same thing. That no one around the Canucks is saying he’s hurt and they wouldn’t have let him play if he was.

Rumours that Pettersson has had a knee injury (diehard Canucks buddy of mine told me knee tendinitis) since last season and the skating analytics seem to indicate he is way slower and worse skater than previous years.

In any case, he's going to have to figure it out. Canucks fans are ready to kill him.
