Yeah, not that Parros really follows and rhyme or reason for his decisions he has have reason to lower the boom here on Hartman.

Four suspensions can all be taken into account. Then in addition to that, the last two happened within the last 18 months so he's tagged as a repeat offender.

However, Parros only suspended him for 3 games for his last suspension and that was for throwing his stick at a ref last April.

I think Parros' longest suspension handed out for an in game infraction was the 20 games he gave to Wilson for checking Svundvist in the head. That was also the THIRD time in one calendar year exactly where Wilson found himself in front of George. But even that was reduced to 14 after the NHLPA fought Gary's upholding of 20 games and an arbitrator reduced it.

Unfortunately, I'm just not expecting to hear anything approaching 10 games. If you don't violate the NHLPA Assistance Program (his hands are tied, Nuke), gamble (again...hands tied, Pinto) or beat up your partner (Watson)... George just doesn't really care to punish you hard. You practactically have to beg him to give it to you hard (Wilson).

If Hartman gets suspended for 10+ games I don't see how the Avs can catch Minny.

The Avs need Hartman in the line up playing big minutes down the stretch.
