Go look at the rest of his career. Highest he ever had before that and since that was 26.

He had a good year riding shotgun with McDavid all season at both 5v5 and PP. Now he gets bumped around a lot but also, he's just a vanilla bland player. Came into the league with the hype of being super creative but he is as vanilla as it gets. 104 was always the outlier just like Huberdeau's eruption in Florida was an outlier.

Side note - Rantanen got annihilated by Jake Walman to end that period. Holy.
