Yeah probably true.Stopping the game for a ceremony is very weird. They should be doing this next game in Washington.

It is, but this also happened when Gretzky broke Howe's record.Stopping the game for a ceremony is very weird. They should be doing this next game in Washington.
Ovie handed over his gloves, stick and helmet.Yeah probably true.
I think Wilson gave up his stick and gloves for assisting ?
Ya which makes sense of course but I thought Wilson did the same. Probably saving it for himself which is cool imo.Ovie handed over his gloves, stick and helmet.

I didn't know they did that.It is, but this also happened when Gretzky broke Howe's record.
Granted, if I'm not mistaken he broke it against the Oilers in Edmonton so it was a lot more sentimental.
All I could think ofMrs Ovechkin is fine btw
Meh, it's not something that is about to be done anytime soon I think. Might as well.Stopping the game for a ceremony is very weird. They should be doing this next game in Washington.

The fact that Ovechkin has been able to stay healthy for basically the entirety of his career, even when playing a rough game, is a serious feat. I think this injury was his biggest absence so far in his career, so that should tell you something.Amazing that he could do it this year after breaking his leg. What a laser for the record! Love Ovi and his passion for the game!
