He is officially on pace for an absolute terrible year. Right now looking like a complete swing and a miss going for size.
On pace for half the points he had last year and is a -4.
He already has a professional contract so that makes him ineligible for NCAA regardless of a transfer agreement, AFAIK.If the CHL / NCAA thing happens perhaps he can go play in the NCAA for a bit when he's done with Jr. Might be better for trying to develop offense as opposed to getting buried in the AHL.
Shame you're all giving up on this kid already but with out track record of defenceman in the first round (Any round?), I get it.

They only have 1 defenseman putting up points.
Marrelli 3rd. rounder, missed the draft last year by a couple weeks.

And as you can see, they are thriving on our top pair with our last good defensive selection before them, Morgan Rielly....We hit on the last two first round D we drafted...

okay.Just because a player was traded doesn't mean they didn't develop... Liljegren seems to be doing well in San Jose and Sandin is a regular D in Washington.
Not sure what point you are trying to illustrate here. Are the other dmen first round NHL draft picks? I just checked a few 2006 birthdays and I don't see any.
If you are taking a guy with your first round pick you should at least see them as solidly NHL dmen who can compete for a top 4 spot eventually. He is simply not tracking for that.
