The goal-scoring is certainly there, but it's also the QMJHL which has turned very few NHLers here recently, plus his size will be a huge hinderance

He's listed as 5'9" now on eliteprospects, but yea he's gonna have to be a Caulfield/Debrincat-level talent to stick around in the NHL at that size.

his height and weight varies by web site so hard to tell what his current stats are.

One site lists him now at 5'9" & 185lbs as his current ht/wt as an 18 year old (who knows if he really is that height or weight).

But if accurate, that's close to Recci's measurements and he has 3-4 years to get stronger and as importantly improve his skating and shot quickness.

Yes - he is small and in a league that is not known for great prospects - but he is on track to score almost 60 goals this year after scoring over 50 last year - and he was one of the youngest in his draft class. I'm not saying he is a guaranteed prospect, but when you shoot for the fences on a prospect in the later rounds, Justin may be one of the best examples out there. He has a transferrable skill and he does it better than pretty much any one his age - can he overcome what made him available in the 5th? No idea - but at least you don't have to guess if he has any skill.

Looks like he cooled off after goal 43 (a game they won 14-0 apparently) and had 5A in the following 7 games, but he's apparently been out since March 15ish?
