And then a squeaker just barely gets by Bo because of the alignment.

Shooting themselves in the foot and not getting any breaks.
 
In all these talks of wanting guys fired, traded, etc, i don't generally agree outside of maybe Guillermo Martinez.

Dude has been here since 2019 and we've seen stretches similar to this where they lose their head and starting swinging at absolute crap again.

I do believe this lineup can seriously contend but i think they need to be more consistent.

People can bitch about Schneider all they want but barring a historical meltdown/collapse and/or player mutiny he's safe. Shatkins took forever to fire Montoyo so i don't see them pulling the trigger sooner.

Agreed. Baseball is a weird sport. There are a lot of games so there will most likely be stretches of poor play. Furthermore, it's a sport where trying harder and be counter-intuitive.

2 or 3 runs ain't gonna cut it.

Other teams hit multiple hrs against us. We are lucky to hit one a game.

Nobody stepping up. Vlad might as well go to the DL if this is how he's going to play.
 
man... i dunno how it is now but don't players usually get an earful when they get in double play balls so often. I don't think I've seen this much frequency....ever when i used to watch.
 
They're going to need to get themselves out of this. Schedule ain't coming to rescue them given this is what it looks like going into June

All 1st/2nd place teams in their division outside of the Mets. Even Minnesota would be a bad matchup because of how good their rotation has been to open the year.
