Really surprised they didn't walk him or bring out Mayza to face Lowe.
Right? That's my thought too. Maybe someone can explain that?Another egregious loss for John Schneider. What a goof.
Also how the f*** can you challenge twice in one play. If the play at second was confirmed that should have taken their challenge away
So the Jays didn't get to be on the other side of the voodoo Trop nonsense. They just got teased with success so the true voodoo nonsense could take it away and twist the knife further. And of course it's Lowe.
screw this cursed garbage stadium.
Jays are 86-68 not good enough for you???Schneider again with the loss.
Not when the manager continuously makes bad decisions when we are trying to make the playoffs. No need to be an apologist when he makes a bad call.Jays are 86-68 not good enough for you???
Combine that with the garbage scoring attempt on the short fly ball....This is a clear case of the inmates running the asylum. Romano clearly has an issue on his pitching hand. Gives up 3 hits and a run. And then, with a lefty up and a lefty ready to go, you still take his word that "I'm OK." It should have been "f*** that and f*** your ego, pal. Your day is done." Instead, Schneider and Walker go all "Grady Little" and we lose a very important game. Worst piece of managing I've seen all year.

Just terrible managing tonight
89-138 Jays all time in Tampa.I hate playing at the Trop, that place has bad vibes for the Jays since 2008.
Mariners and Astros both lose.
