The worst part of Michkov going before 5 is that we will never know if we would've taken him or not... in a way it's nice but it will always be something I wanted to know lol
Im sure theres reasons, plural.A poster giving @WeThreeKings a hard time for no reason a few pages back
Dvorak and Edmundson would both be natural fits to go and I think Dvorak will go before his trade protection kicks in on July 1, but might not be at the draft specifically. What are the odds we trade a player? We got a billion forwards and a lot of dmen too.
I think SJ may take him.I want Michkov so bad, and I have a sneaky feeling he's going before 5th.
Is Carlsson even a centre anymore? Thought I read that he’s been mostly a winger the past two years. Why did that happen?I don't think character issues. His skating is far from elite and there are some questions regarding his compete level. Very high hockey IQ though. Most Swedes are low maintenance when it comes to character issues.
I personally see Bedard as clearcut #1, Fantilli clearcut #2 and then it opens up some. I wouldn't be completely surprised to see one of Leonard, Reinbacher or Dvorsky go ahead of one of the consensus top 5 players. After months of NHL teams sandbagging, there are usually a couple of surprises.
They've all led me to this state...If they don’t pick Michkov
If they don’t pick Michkov
If they don’t pick Michkov
Don’t mind me just trying to summon @Schooner Guy
I feel like he’s been slacking on calling out a few “if we don’t pick Michkov” posts with humorous cat memes.

If he’s not perceived as someone who can play centre at the NHL, that would impact his draft value. Plus, I also saw that he has heavy feet. How will that be an issue in respect of his progress and speed?
all you draft kings are stone cold, that's why I keep my yap shutI cant wait for some of u guys to change the tone and be like "I always knew Michkov wasnt that much of a concern" after dragging him through the mud for months
Thing is - is it really disappointing if we take Smith? He’d be the best offensive prospect in decades. This is the most exciting draft week ever, no? Between the PLD talk and the Michkov talk, I've never been so prepared to be disappointed in my life.
In theory, It would be because of Anaheim or SJ. But apparently in the unlikely event they don’t go Fantilli, they might go Carlsson. Apparently they like him a lot. So it wouldnt automatically be Michkov. The worst part of Michkov going before 5 is that we will never know if we would've taken him or not... in a way it's nice but it will always be something I wanted to know lol

I want help, is there anyway to watch the draft without having to purchase monthly pass?
I have looked up and it is 35$ for Sportsnet and I would prefer not having to pay that much. Is there any stream on NHL.com or other way to watch the game cheaper? Thanks for your help it would be appreciated from a fellow habs fan!
He played the wing all year in his men's league and in the World Junior but then ironically played a fair amount at center at the World's which is the highest level he played all year. He struggled mightily in the face-off dot which is to be expected. Is Carlsson even a centre anymore? Thought I read that he’s been mostly a winger the past two years. Why did that happen?
