I want help, is there anyway to watch the draft without having to purchase monthly pass?
I have looked up and it is 35$ for Sportsnet and I would prefer not having to pay that much. Is there any stream on NHL.com or other way to watch the game cheaper? Thanks for your help it would be appreciated from a fellow habs fan!

I don't think character issues. His skating is far from elite and there are some questions regarding his compete level. Very high hockey IQ though. Most Swedes are low maintenance when it comes to character issues.

I personally see Bedard as clearcut #1, Fantilli clearcut #2 and then it opens up some. I wouldn't be completely surprised to see one of Leonard, Reinbacher or Dvorsky go ahead of one of the consensus top 5 players. After months of NHL teams sandbagging, there are usually a couple of surprises.
Is Carlsson even a centre anymore? Thought I read that he’s been mostly a winger the past two years. Why did that happen?

If he’s not perceived as someone who can play centre at the NHL, that would impact his draft value. Plus, I also saw that he has heavy feet. How will that be an issue in respect of his progress and speed?

If they don’t pick Michkov
If they don’t pick Michkov
If they don’t pick Michkov

Don’t mind me just trying to summon @Schooner Guy

I feel like he’s been slacking on calling out a few “if we don’t pick Michkov” posts with humorous cat memes.
They've all led me to this state...

Carlsson played center at the World's and everyone sees him as the most likely to stick at C from the guys being picked in the top 4. The reason why - he played in Allsvenskan and SHL, so he's playing a pro league and those conservative pro leagues generally don't have teenagers centering lines.

His feet aren't heavy, his skating just needs improvement but it's not anything more than average. My opinion is that his lack of acceleration power is just from being underdeveloped physically in his legs. But it won't matter, he's got skills, he's got reach and his hockey brain is probably the second best in the draft behind Bedard.

But this is just my opinion, I have to add a disclaimer now.

This is the most exciting draft week ever, no? Between the PLD talk and the Michkov talk, I've never been so prepared to be disappointed in my life.
Thing is - is it really disappointing if we take Smith? He’d be the best offensive prospect in decades.

The worst part of Michkov going before 5 is that we will never know if we would've taken him or not... in a way it's nice but it will always be something I wanted to know lol
In theory, It would be because of Anaheim or SJ. But apparently in the unlikely event they don’t go Fantilli, they might go Carlsson. Apparently they like him a lot. So it wouldnt automatically be Michkov.

I think it’s really up to SJ.

If they stay at 5, please draft one of the big 4 (Bedard, Fantili, Carlsson, Michkov). Please ANA, CBJ, SJ let one of those players fall to 5…

He played the wing all year in his men's league and in the World Junior but then ironically played a fair amount at center at the World's which is the highest level he played all year. He struggled mightily in the face-off dot which is to be expected.
