Goaltending seems to be the only way this team could stumble. My lineup:

Othmann-Wright-Bedard
Fantilli-Stankoven-Guenther
Bolduc-Beck-Roy
Ostapchuk-Gaucher-Dumais
Dean

Lambos-Clarke
Del Mastro-Zellweger
Korchinski-Allan
Matier

Look at those forward lines. Every single one of them will be playing in front of an elite transition guy in Clarke, Zellweger, and Korchinski, the whole damn game.

Love the avatar, man. Can't believe I never noticed it before. The team should select the Peaky Blinders intro as their goal song.

The best TV show of all time, in my humble opinion. I cannot wait for the forthcoming movie!

Echoing others here, those defense pairings look great but those forward lines look like they reflect an effort to put together the dumbest possible lineup. Othmann-Wright is (or should be) a given, at least to start.

Don’t know why they wouldn’t start with the U-18 top 6 in Oth/Wright/Guenther & Stank/Bedard and a bigger body like Fantilli to fil McTavish’s spot.

Tommy's "Nearly got f***ing everything!" speech is a great moment in TV history imo. The entire series is a master class in acting by Murphy.

The lines will shake out as their meant to. I'm not reading too much into them at the moment as the coaches are probably trying to get a feel for how the guys on the bubble perform with the big boys. Though, reading between the lines (MacKenzie's comments a few nights ago, these line combinations...), something tells me the coaching staff isn't as high on Othmann as we might think.

No doubt! Even my cat 4 episodes in started smoking cigarettes and calling family meetings. totally took over running the family business.

Big, returning player who plays a physical game who can skate and is off to a good start offensively. Of course he’s a lock.
Returning player should be irrelevant. I assume the reason he is at camp is becuase he is good defensively.

The reason he’s at camp is the same reason he was on the team for every game this summer.

He’s big, physical, very good skater, very good offensively, very good defensively, can play wing or center.

The fact he’s been on fire since last playoffs, which was what put him on the roster this summer, with 52 points in 33 games also helps.

Yeah, Ostapchuk should be on this team regardless to his status as a returnee. I just don’t really want to see him lining up anywhere other than the team’s (hopefully one and only) “match-up line” that takes all the defensive zone starts.

I think Ostapchuk is solid, but yes, he's going to grind it out on the checking/energy line, not be a top line scoring guy.
