Don't think so. McGovern and Bates will be day 1 starters. Edwards, Boettger, and Torrance will be competing for reserve spots.

I wouldn't be surprised, especially since we know this regime likes to bring along draft picks slowly, if Torrance starts off inactive on game days.

2 huge needs filled in rounds 1 and 2 at what i would describe as very good value. we’re probably gonna try and grab a mlb in round 3, but it seems like bernard is the plan. a big question mark for sure, they must have a lot of faith in him if they’re not using some more expensive draft capital on the position

It's a massive hole. I know there are a lot of variables at play, but when one of Milano or Edmunds was out, it was noticeable. Hopefully, they can figure something out.
