He was fine, rough start to his outing but he settled in107 OPS+, 0.3 WAR
I only saw the box score today, but what did Walter do that was so bad?

Said it before and I’ll say it again, Bloom takes a large share of the blame but Cora is more concerned with being the player’s friend than an actual manager. Don’t get me wrong a good relationship between the manager and the roster is helpful but the inability for Cora to effectively MANAGE when it counts in game has been evident far too often.Didn’t throw either guy today. Great job Alex.
I don’t mind that one, there was a lefty on the mound and they had their best LHP masher to replace him with. It was a big spot in the game and it’s not like the doubles he hit were missiles off the wall or anything
Still though I’m starting to wonder if he has any idea what he’s doing
Bobby Dalbec is back...
Might rather see Bobby at SS over Kikè
He hit a ball 115 mph at estimated over 500 ft off of a train last week
Cora is starting Refsnyder over Duran against a righty
He might be more of an idiot than Farrell
Hoping to see Casas and Dalbec hitting (or at least swinging) back-to-back.
I didn’t care for him sitting Duran the night after he pulled him (3 2B’s straight game). Since the whole thing, Duran is 0-9. I know you made a good point about the lefty in the game at the time of the switch.
Duran is hitting .250 against lefties this season as well.
Not going back to him the next day against a righty (Ober) was dumb and now Duran is all out of whack again. It’s frustrating to watch stuff like that.
I don't think sitting Duran one night threw him "all out of wack".
Right now the Sox are loaded in the outfield. Someone good is sitting every game.
I've been saying that for months. After Bloom let Xander go and didn't bring in any of his friends like Correa in free agency, he wanted out but he doesn't want to quit because he'll lose the money left on his contract, so he's trying to get firedStarting to wonder if Cora is deliberately trying to get fired? Does he know Giolito is a righty? I figured he just have reverse splits- nope
Sox fans were taking credit for bullying the team into re-signing him at the winter classic, I don’t want to hear them complain about Devers if he underperforms!Watching Devers in this slump is getting old.
Well I wasn't one of those fans, I remember hearing he re-signed that's about it. I don't follow close enough to have an opinion.Sox fans were taking credit for bullying the team into re-signing him at the winter classic, I don’t want to hear them complain about Devers if he underperforms!
Ultimately I was happy for sentimental reasons but it wasn’t a smart gamble and I explained the many reasons why the entire off-season
I told you. He is legitimately the Flash on the basepaths. He makes things happen. And he's fun!Hamilton turning a walk into a home run
