Wacha 8-2 2.84

Sure let’s save a million and sign washed Kluber over a guy who was11-2 here last season and wanted to return

The Red Sox could be minimum 10 games over maybe 15-20 by signing Bogearts in 2022 spring training & retaining Eovoldi & wacha

They charge highest prices and nickel and dime LATELY like the Reds

They deserve thousands and thousands of empty seats and no playoffs
I ain’t giving Wacha 4 years. I would’ve been fine with the QO though, but even then that’s steep for a guy who is always hurt and had middling peripherals

I hope everybody is ready to hold onto their butts, it’s Joe Jacques closer time

They could have easily got 3 or even 2 with higher AVV

That’s what analysts said on MLB Network

In shape Verdugo very good player

That is a nice unexpected win and sweep. I wonder if the Sox would be better off playing home games in the great hitters' park that is Rogers' center. :) Saw a blog/article that said the Astros should look to trade for Verdugo. I would not trade him, but there is an argument or two for it.

Would love to know who decided Kenley was the most deserving Red Sox pitcher to go to the All-Star game

Bottom 4 hitters go 0-17 with 11 strikeouts. And they still win.

Great work by the bullpen after Whitlock goes down (again).

Unreal game from Duran. When he doesn't pull off the outside pitches he's really dangerous.

Do the Sox starters really need so many days between starts? Doesn't seem to be keeping them healthy, let alone Fesh.

I’m on such a cold streak I gambled against them thinking they would get the win because of me but also thinking there was no way we’d beat Gausman again. Then Whitlock got hurt in the first and I was like damn maybe my cold streak is over and nope.

I’ll take the win! Hedging fandom!

I seriously don't know if I ever wanted a Sox prospect to turn into a legit star as I want with Mayer (shoutout goes to Ryan Westmoreland). The guy has everything. I mean, the swing is as beautiful as it gets. I don't even regularly dig deep into his stats as I just expect him to put up good stats and just reach the majors in the not so distant future.

You see him, I do not. However isn't he hitting.190-.200 albeit with power? Give him time to adjust to double A.

Cora throwing his most overused reliever for 60 pitches. Gross negligence, he has to be tanking or gambling on the games
Keep saying this if it makes you feel better

I see Whitlock is hurt again? ERA over 5 anyway. Can we please give up on him as a starter? They totally ruined a good thing with him as a reliever.

This team confuses me.

Does well against good teams. Suck against "bad teams"

Just go on a run. Please
It's not confusing to me. This is just what a mediocre team does. They suck everyone back in and then will get swept by another NL team at home or lose consecutive series, halting any momentum.

After this Rangers series there is a window to put together a run

A's
@Cubs

Mets

That's the window to turn this into a legitimate season. The problem is there is no evidence that they can take advantage of it.

If you baseball nerds want something to get the brain working every day

The way this season has gone, they'll probably sweep the Rangers and go 2-10 against the teams they should beat.
I know for a fact they’re losing the Oakland series
