Casas breakout szn is in full swing

Littell striking out the side in his rays debut is hilarious. Def don’t let them end up with Brasier

Some ppl were concerned with losing the bat of Bogaerts. Others thought Yoshida would sufficiently replace the impact in the lineup. Which line is which! (Rhetorical)

Um there was absolutely nobody on here talking about how Yoshida would "sufficiently replace" Bogaerts. Nobody. Not a single person. But hey if you want to take a mythical victory lap after 43 baseball games go for it!

It’s his #1 sport! (I think) @DKH knows ball

Are his fingernails painted?

Liked seeing Casas running out of the box on his HR. Didn't take his usual 2 minute stroll around the bases either.

Nice bounce back for Duran after terrible start at the plate and in the field.

Is Reese McGuire king of the bloop hits?
Reese is Catcher Jeter until the average falls below .300

Can I ask why you’re so miserable about the Red Sox and fans that seem to enjoy the sport?
For some it’s tragic that Yoshida + Turner are better for a lineup than Bogaerts + JD, but for me as a fan I choose to celebrate the fact it would appear we got the superior bats at less than 1/3 of the cost. The proof is in the pudding so far this year too- much more competitive, particularly against high end pitching. They’ve tattooed some big names this season.

It’s refreshing to see those guys at top of the order doing the little things to generate runs. Many of their outs are useful outs too.

Something in re: to Sherriff that I don’t think many people are aware of- he’s pitched 2 scoreless WS innings. His stuff looked decent last night, I could see him getting some real run. Thought Garza was interesting too- seems like he could at least be a decent final man in the pen

Yes. He marches to his own beat. I love the kid.
Just a couple good games away from already being back to league average with the batting line

He’ll be a good one. Defense has admittedly not been as strong as I was expecting but that will improve too

Do Sox fans like Duran again after all the name calling last season?

Mets seem to be calling up all their guys as well... Just let them play, the numbers will catch up eventually

Of course!

Why not?

I called Bobby Dalbec the worst hitter I've ever seen on the Red Sox. If he were to suddenly turn it around and hit 30 homers this year, I would love the guy.
