Impressive series and idk how you could say otherwise
And yet there’s still a vocal part of the fan base rooting against them. Pathetic!

What are people’s thoughts on Casas?
Makes releasing Hosmer even stranger. He's hitting .129 and hasn't been good in the field.
How should I feel about him? Mostly terribly disappointed.
Maybe they should put him on a diet.

They don't have a great option except to let Casas work through his struggles.
I mean sure, but at some point if he doesn't improve, they need a viable option to not be a blackhole in the lineup, while he works through stuff in AAA.Which is what they should do.
I believe he still only has 170 MLB plate appearances.

I fully expect him to get hot at some point, he flashed a bit last year.
He is going to take the "God of walks" from Youkilis. He needs to start hitting before he gets the Daubach label. What are people’s thoughts on Casas?
I'm very biased in these situations, because I remained 100% committed to a struggling rookie named Dustin Pedroia despite some friends vehemently insisting Alex Cora needed to replace him in the lineup.
One of the "most right I will ever be about anything" moments in my life. Ever since that I tend to give highly rated prospects a very long leash to work things out.
(I really wish I was as optimistic about Casas now as I was about Pedroia then, but I'm not giving up on him just yet.)
Alex Cora replace rookie Pedroia? I don't think so.
Yes, he is correct. When pedroia struggled out of the gate, many around here suggested replacing him with Alex Cora, who was the backup infielder at the time. Don’t really understand what your argument is.Alex Cora replace rookie Pedroia? I don't think so.
My guess is that it's only temporary and that they're looking for a fresh bullpen arm for the Baltimore series. They just sent Bello to Worcester. What is Bloom doing? He does not know. Doubtless he sent down Bello to make room for the next Yu Chang.
Let us hope so.....And when and if they find that arm, they let someone else go to open a spot?My guess is that it's only temporary and that they're looking for a fresh bullpen arm for the Baltimore series.
I hate the ghost runner now that we have game speed under control
That was 100000% THE debate during the first few months of the '07 season when Pedroia was terrible to start.
