Same as last series, if the Celtics lose Mazzulla shouldn't last an hour before being fired, no other championship contender has had to carry a coach this bad before. For a coach so analytically driven by the 3 pointer that he's annoyed even when they shoot 71% from the field in the first half like game 1 against Philly because they didn't shoot enough 3s, it's crazy he seems willing to just give up open 3s to the other team. Atlanta did it and Miami did it last night. The Heats shooters have regressed this season but just like the Bucks series, if you give them wide open looks they will hit them at a good percentage.
The Heat shot 66% from mid-range last night, Butler is great at them but you had Max Strus hitting off the dribble middies against you, those are the shots they should be willing to live. Sell out to stop the 3 and dare their one dimensional scorers that they have a lot of to have to put the ball on the floor and create offense for themselves or defer to Butler and make him do everything every minute he's on the court the entire series. This is a team that had to beg their coach to make adjustments facing elimination though and made no adjustments to a similar problem against Atlanta.
