Yeah, I Norway is favourites, unless they "unban" Russia and Belarus and put them into the division or something.

Btw Stian Solberg is a huge talent by Norwegian standards. Born in 29 December 2005 and got into the Vålerenga squad in January. He was a regular for them until he broke his collarbone in March. He played really good imo, i think he got over 20 minutes ice time in one of the games.

Solberg and Belarus' Levshunov (which is 2 months older than Solberg and is considered as a huge talent) was the only 2024 draft eligible players playing in last years U20 Div 1A.

Because of his injury he didn't play for Norway when we where promoted to the top flight in the U18 Div 1A WC, but it will be really exciting to se how he (and Norway in general) will play in that tournament.

Elias Straume Vatne (b 2006) is also a player Im really excited about, he is going from Stavanger Oilers to Färjestad before this season. If he does well for Färjestad U18 (Maybe also U20) I can really see him getting a place in Norways squad as well.
