I've always had a feeling deep in my tummy that Nylander would one day be an Islander.

Dunno why, but it's there.

Can't watch this PO series without thinking household changes will be coming in TOR if this thing ends within the next week.

He would seem a logical scapegoat at the moment - and the most easily moved of the big 4.

Did not stay up to watch the Seattle game, just watched the condensed game highlights. Wow!....that was some damned poor goal tending by Dallas. Glad Seattle won just the same.

I get the same feeling, but for Mitch Marner ;)

Chances of a team advancing that is up 2-0 in a series is like 81% or something like that. Anyone have the number for teams up 3-0?

Edit: from teh google -

In Stanley Cup Playoffs history, 204 teams (as of May 7, 2023) have faced down a 3-0 deficit in a best-of-seven series. Of those, only four teams successfully overcame them - a success rate of just under 2% - and only one of those did so in the Stanley Cup Finals.

So over 98% historical series win rate if you’re up 3-0.

He should've been an islander in 2014 but MDC was chosen.

Miro Heiskanen getting injured absolutely ruined the stars yesterday.

The Mayor of Toronto put in an emergency call to prime minister Trudeau warning of his city running dangerously low on Xanax.

hopefully the Leafs don't pull a 2004 Red Sox, they have the firepower so to count them out would be stupid, that said seeing the Leafs potentially lose makes this post season worse, I was not to upset after the Isles got knocked out as seeing the power houses between the Bruins/Rangers/Lightning/Leafs I really thought the path to winning a cup was almost impossible, given the chance the Isles could have avoided all of those teams makes this worse to be honest.

How? the leafs look lifeless.

Anyone notice last night after Florida scored the winner the camera went to the owner booth for them . Looked like Brian McCabe bottom right corner a little late compared to the others to cheer for the winning goal. He did spend 7 years in Toronto and only 2 1/2 with Florida . I guess he has a paying position with them now .

Maybe it's that his last name is just two letters away from being NY Islander?

Edmonton only managed 28 shots in a home game vs backup goaltender?

I wouldn't think of it that way, maybe our team 2-3 years ago with Trotz could have gone all the way but not this year's team
