There seemed to be a run on defenseman. But who knows, not our concern. For once let's be the team that steals the really good player everyone else passed on.

Just draft a defenseman. No forward we draft is going to work out. We'll just end up trading for Joe Pavelskin and signing him to an 8 year 10-mil per extension thereby blocking whoever we draft today. The first step to recovery is acknowledging you have a problem. The Rangers should just accept what they are. At the first remote sign of being able to bring in a veteran forward they're going to do it anyway so why even bother wasting the pick. Draft a dman. Who cares if it's a reach, at least the player will have a chance.
