Colby Barlow has Senators written all over him.

Someone to keep an eye on when they make their inevitable late-season charge to 9th.

I think he'll go before 9th.

20G and 35P in 23GP, 6'1 power winger, good two-way player, captain of his team at 17.

If it weren't for 4 legitimate potential #1 centers in this draft + a franchise talent in Michkov, I'd say he's a lock for a top 5 pick, but he might go just outside.

I hope the Sens take a long look at Daid Reinbacher.

Austrian defender playing against men this year in the National League (Swiss League)

Putting up good offensive totals Even though offence really hasn’t been his game.

6’2“ right shot that has good mobility, physical and good at defending.

He will ancor Austria’s defence at the upcoming WJC - and is a kid to look out for.

What round is he projected to go in?

A lot of pundits are projecting him from anywhere from late first to second round.

I think he goes higher than that and will be one of the first defenders taken - his game reminds me a lot of Moritz Seider at the same age.

This draft is a little thin on dmen right?

Has anyone watched Oliver Bonk?

6’2 180, right shot D, good production, son of one of our highest draft picks ever, born and raised in Ottawa. He checks a ton of boxes.
We need a prospect D pairing on Donovan-Bonk...

Surprised his production is so high but he's a smart player.

Would project him more as a defensive guy in the NHL. Maybe worth a late 1st right now.

Anybody have a list filtered for defenseman i.e., 1st & 2nd round?

BPA I know, but it would still be nice to have some depth eventually.

Would rather this scouting staff take F with all our picks outside of the top half of the 1st.

They are awful projecting D, and have been for over a decade

Ya, I know. But maybe the new ownership group hires a scout that specializes in scouting defenders. Its sadly needed.

Hope springs eternal?

Are there any real good defenders projected to be in the top 10 overall? I'm just starting to follow this a bit now.

It’s forward heavy in the top.

Gulyayev is probably the consistently highest ranked, he’s probably towards the 10-15 range.

Dragicevic is probably the guy I’d expect to jump up towards 10 by the end of the season of all the D available. He’s the e guy if keep an eye on as the Western based scout for the Sens. His decision making has been improving all season, if that continues he’ll skyrocket.

if we cant tank, ( or anyway we cant drop last three place ).. it means as soon as possibe we need trade anyway if it will be this year first round pick...( no matter if we pick 10-16, this prospect will not be effect for us soon)..

just do something, or year is burn.. trade first ( protect 1-5 pick 1-3)...

fire dj and bring 1-2 quality player ... left 57 games.. everything is possible

Axel Sandin Pellikka is a guy I think could rocket up the rankings and possibly be the first D taken.

Thought he was extremely impressive at the Hlinka. Really talented kid who skates well. Big offensive upside.

Thanks for the download.

Dragicevic seems interesting. Drafting Russians makes me nervous given the war. Gulyayev is also under contract I see until 2024/25 (not sure how that impacts).

i think he makes his way into the first round.
He‘s just a solid all around player, type of guys that does most things well - but nothing really elite. don’t see massive high upside with him.
