His massive improvement this year is owed to both the improvements made to his skating, and the improvements made to his off-puck play…
with those likely being connected. Knuble has great scoring instincts and does so much of his work from the slot and near the crease, just like his father did. He has transformed himself into a much more
complete player and competitor this year and it gives him a much safer NHL projection now. He now appears ready for the next step at Notre Dame and should be an immediate impact player at the NCAA
level.
