Sucks for David and the Packers, but this seemed to be seasons in the making with all of the setbacks.

32 year old OT with a fifth knee surgery coming up:

2 high end OT from PSU and ND at the top of the draft. Like top 10, maybe even top 8 given the position.

They are coming off their bye week. So, today is their first day back at the facility. Bad sign if he's not on the field after a week off.

They’re also going to start their third string QB after DTR showed he wasn’t ready for the NFL.

That’s 4 weeks. Back for week 10 like JJ in Minny. Jags, Browns, Saints and Panthers for the next 4. No bye week in there. Face NE first then the bye. So if he’s not fully ready for NE sit him the extra week and use the bye week.

I can almost guarantee JJ won't be back in week 10 and wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him the rest of the season. Between the unpredictable nature of hamstring/tissue injuries, it being a lost season, and his contract.

In addition, their starting LG Joel Bitonio had his knee scoped and is out. Starting TE David Njoku is probably not going to play as he recovers from burns (even though he played through the pain the game before the bye week).

Honestly, this looks like the Browns know they have no chance against the 49ers and are going to use this as a week to rest anyone dinged up even a bit.

Honestly, that has to be scary for the Colts organization. He is looking like Cam Newton's career trajectory. Big strong fast, almost like a TE playing QB but he's been knocked out of 2 games with a Concussion and a Shoulder injury.
