The auditing firm who observes the lottery every year.lol who was it that said the draft wasn't rigged
People would have said it was rigged if Arizona, Montreal, Pittsburgh won too.lol who was it that said the draft wasn't rigged
And a cupThe lesson here is covering up sexual assault charges does pay off.....you get the first overall.
Don't the new rules prevent Pittsburgh from moving up that high though?Fantilli is still a nightmare
BIIIIIIG surprise that Chicago got him though, only less surprising thing would have been Pittsburgh![]()
No. Rules are that if you win, you move up (either to first or second overall), but now there's a limit on the number of lotteries you can "win" in a certain time span (you can't win more than twice in a five year span).Don't the new rules prevent Pittsburgh from moving up that high though?
Ah, in 2021, the new rule(The Rangers rule) was that a team can't move up more than 10 spaces.No. Rules are that if you win, you move up (either to first or second overall), but now there's a limit on the number of lotteries you can "win" in a certain time span (you can't win more than twice in a five year span).
When Fantilli learns the Ducks drafted him, he'll stay in college 4 years & go FA.Whew. Close call.
Fantilli still looks very good though.
Yeah, they keep changing the rules not knowing what they want to do. Kind of annoying.Ah, in 2021, the new rule(The Rangers rule) was that a team can't move up more than 10 spaces.
I thought Nazar was really unimpressive last year. He did miss most of the year until the end, but he never really showed anything that warranted how high he went in the draft. That was what they ended up getting for their failed Dach pick.Chicago had 3 1st round picks, and 2 2nd rounds picks last year.
This year they have 2 1sts, including 1OA, and 4 2nds.
If they stay on course, they could be a force in the league in about 5 years.
Er nevermind, I forgot Matthews is a center.I thought Nazar was really unimpressive last year. He did miss most of the year until the end, but he never really showed anything that warranted how high he went in the draft. That was what they ended up getting for their failed Dach pick.
Reichel looked good though, 25 goal pace at age 20. He will be one fixture on Bedard’s wing. They will probably be looking to add someone with some size and skill as the 3rd guy on that line.
Same year as Kopi going UFA.Doesn't Matthews go UFA in a couple years?
Well, some people do think Bedard may end up as a winger. We don’t know what AM’s priorities are in a potential new home. Some say he wants to be closer to the southwest, which would obviously eliminate Chicago. But assuming Bedard is even like 85% McDavid that would be a very appealing place for him to want to go. They will likely be on the cusp of being really good, it’s an amazing sports market, he can maximize his earnings while not having to be in Canada.Er nevermind, I forgot Matthews is a center.
What are your thoughts on Fantilli since you've seen him a bunch I'm sure.I thought Nazar was really unimpressive last year.
