I was just commenting that you said you were taking Will 6th OA when it was 5th.

Anyways, still looking to trade down for anyone looking to move up. Willing to drop as low as 15th.

Edit: I still have about 2 1/2 hours until I need to pick. Get your offers in to move up now!

@OB5 You're up

:seattle

We're looking for a top-nine forward, and a top-four defenceman. Have had some productive talks so far. Looking as 75% buy/25% sell at this point.

:kings

We are looking for a #1 goalie, and in a buy/sell mode.

We're around all night to talk deals.

:nucks Still Selling. Listening on Demko and Hughes. Anyone not named Pettersson is available in the right deal.

SABRES ACQUIRE TUCH FROM CANADIENS, SIGN HIM TO ENTRY LEVEL CONTRACT

June 28, 2023

NASHVILLE, TN – The Buffalo Sabres announced today that the team has acquired forward Luke Tuch from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for goaltender Erik Portillo. The Sabres have subsequently signed Tuch to a three-year, entry level contract.

Tuch (6’ 2”, 203 lbs, 03.07.2002) comes to Buffalo following three seasons with the NCAA’s Boston University Terriers. While at BU, Tuch amassed 39 points and 45 penalty minutes in 76 games. Prior to attending BU, Tuch spent two seasons with the United States National Team Development Program and one year in the Buffalo Jr. Sabres organization. The Syracuse, New York native was drafted in the second round, 47th overall by the Canadiens in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.

Tuch is the younger brother of current Buffalo Sabres forward Alex Tuch.

“We’re glad to have Luke in the fold,” said the Sabres GM. “His style of physical hockey brings an element that our organization has been lacking. We know how much the Tuch family embraces Western New York, and we cannot wait for Luke to lace up with his brother at KeyBank Center.”

The 2023 NHL Entry Draft continues this weekend from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Buffalo’s first pick is in the second round, 40th overall.
