I think we're going to be okay with Orville.

Thank god we didn't take Dvorsky, at least. Guy's going to be lucky to hit 10pts in the SHL this year.

Yep. The guy scored 14 points in the Allsvenskan last season. He's lucky to even get a spot in the SHL. Highly unlikely to get to 10 points there. Just as a reminder, Reinbacher scored 22 points last season. Almost 2x Dvorsky's scoring and we're talking defender vs forward and top league vs 2nd tier league.

Dvorsky is talented and he's gonna destroy the WJC20 as he always does vs fellow kids but the guy has yet to prove he can play in a pro league. Gonna be happy for him if he does but there's serious bust potential with Dvorsky. I don't like his skating at all and his game against the puck is in need of a lot of work as well.

According to their website, Kloten expects Reinbacher to "play friday in Biel the latest". Whatever that means.
Yes I've seen it since my last post. They really seem happy to have him back so if he feels good enough to play maybe we'll have some luck. At worst, I'll spend some quality time with my son so no big deal, I'll try to watch Reinbacher next time he plays in Geneva.

Strong showing. Kept up with his NLA season and his WC after.

Good job Reinbacher and see you next year!

Reinbacher is one of their best D, of course they are happy getting him back.

I knew his defensive game was his best attribute going into the draft, but I came away really impressed with how truly advanced and polished he is . We'll see how much better he can get at everything else, but his overall awareness and puck management is already NHL level at the age of 18 IMO. This is a really strong base to build and develop around. He's almost the reverse Mailloux in a way, if you could merge the two somehow you'd get a heck of a stud prospect

Looking forward to seeing the main board all jump on his bandwagon when they watch him at the WJC this year.

Who said that? That's not at all what I saw from Reinbacher last season and it's also not what he said about himself when asked about his qualities. In fact, he actually singled out his game against the puck that, in his view, was very much in need of work. Also, the guy scored 22 points in one of Europe's top leagues (if not the top league by now) and he did so with barely any PP-points and a very unique assist split. To say that defense would be his strongest point is definitely wrong. Reinbacher excels at transition from defense to offense, not at actual defending. At least so far that is.

Of course ... yet they could be unwiiling to invest too much on a player that won't stay for long with the team and give his icetime/opportunites to another player more likely to play long term for their club.
