2023-24 World Junior Championships Draft Scoring

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.

I apologize, big congrats to @Cerebral! Wow what a come from behind.
I’ll take it! I agonized over which of Rinzel, Fortescue, and Pohlkamp to take. My gut said Pohlkamp but the US fans seemed to favour Rinzel.

Alas, I’ll take a shared victory after a decade off the podium! Congrats as well @Soli - did showdown on the last day!

I'm trying to figure that out. He got 9 points in the Gold Medal game, and according to Paralyzer's standings he'd have taken it, but Cerebral's accounting from yesterday has him at 44 and he didn't get anything in the bronze.
I believe I was missing two points yesterday from an Augustine win. I’ll add it up officially when I get home but I think we tied! :D

@Soli I actually have myself with 55 points which would give me the win. I have to run out with my kids and don't have a chance to double-check, but I'll do the math again later to confirm.

Regardless, heck of a last day battle! Perreault finally showed up for me - it was really just Ohgren that was a massive disappointment.

One year I’ll draft a team that gives me a legitimate chance at taking this thing. Tried a bit of a different strategy this year, worked in some ways and failed big time in others. Oh well guess there’s always next year.

Congrats @Cerebral!!!

Hey guys! My apologies - I was in Banff all weekend long and left just before the gold medal game started. SO - I couldn't update this until now.

These are the final standings:

Cerebral 55
Soli 54
THC 53
Mozes 51
BarDownBobo 46
GrandLarseny 42
Lakai 39
Paralyzer 39
Leftovers 16

Cerebral essentially won the pool on the Ryan Leonard goal, to seal the American win.

Congrats @Cerebral on the big comeback!
