Will blake stay at the bridge and properly go down with the vessel, or will he sneakily paddle away on his surfboard so it only appears he has some valor
I expect nothing.

RJ - help me on this one - i dont get it : ) dont forget i never got the borephyl reference and forced myself to watch Billy Madison.. really dumb but i liked itBlake: "Look! I have a child!"
"You ever get your shit pushed in?!"
You’re quitting the podcast?I will do everything in my power to ensure that what's best for the LA Kings is what happens.

Doughty with retention has a lot of value IMO. The M-NTC limits trade partners, but I think LA would still get something nice in return if they're willing to retain and/or take back an anchor contract. Also you have to figure he would only accept a trade to very few teams. So some something like Doughty for Marner. Marner has one year left and then the Kings would have some cash off the books to fill out depth roles around whatever young guys cement their roles next year.
Or retain half salary for a first round pick, Minten and Reaves.
You arent really going to win a Doughty trade you are just clearing the salary sooner and sending the message that you are turning the page and its time for young guys to take charge.
I hope he gets a lot of respect in the handshake line.Byfield leads all players in the series (on both teams) in plus/minus. By a good margin.
If Blake stays, it will be billed an accomplishment that the Kings “took” the Oilers to 5, Disco Dan Bylsma will be the next coach, he will “win the offseason” for the 4th year in a row by acquiring Marner for Byfield, Kempe, Kaliyev, and a 2nd, and fans will latch onto the claim that QB planned to play for the hometown Leafs all along and was NEVER gonna sign long-term in Los Angeles. The Clowns of the Fraudcast were split on the prediction for tonight but united on Blake coming back next season.
If you ignore their 30 minutes of grievances against people who disagree with them, then they admit to having sources in the organization while also buying seats at full price for 30+ years.
The Mayor was unable to pick against the Kings in this elimination game. He can’t find a way to say the series is over without abandoning his faith in everything the franchise does that he truly believes was correct at the time.
DB is more skeptical because he’s not from SoCal and still struggles with freeways after 50+ years. It’s a coin flip either way for him tonight so it’s easy to ride the fence. But he’s all good either way because he still pays attention to east coast teams and has enough Marriot points to stay for free at a hotel close to a second round matchup.
This is what we get as Kings fans from the co opted media. At least the in house media isn’t calling the hard core fans donkeys while eulogizing BLuc’s remedial GED class.
That reminds me of the movie Brain Donors:You’re quitting the podcast?

Please save us Dan Beckerman.
It's an interesting point and I can't provide a good counter argument. There’s also evidence to suggest that the only reason the 2003 draft turned out so deep is because that entire class of prospects got an “extra” year of development during the lockout.
He'll be 37 years old in 3 months. There's a lot on Anze's shoulders tonight, and he needs to contribute. 3 points in the one win, none in the three loses. He HAS to show up tonight as both the best player and captain.
Is he going to lead or not? Dude thinks he can play two more years at a high cap hit, he better show up for more than one game. He'll be 37 years old in 3 months.
He will lead the buffet line at Golden CorralIs he going to lead or not?
He's not physically capable of being the best playing on the ice tonight. Is he going to lead or not? Dude thinks he can play two more years at a high cap hit, he better show up for more than one game.
They were also certain McLellan wasn't going anywhereThe Clowns of the Fraudcast were split on the prediction for tonight but united on Blake coming back next season.
