Poulter save on a long shot and held on for the whistle.

The game has regressed into long shots off the wings and goalies making the easy save and holding on for faceoffs.

Comets just standing around in their own end watching the Amerks work the puck and eventually taking shots.

There is little to no exertion being shown by the Comets. The Amerks are getting the puck into the low slot time after time and the Comets are just waiting for Poulter to save their bacon. Shots are now 21-12 Amerks.

Comets come in 3 on 2 and Clarke shoots from the dot and Tokarski gloves it.

Poulter a save on the short side from 6 feet.

2nd ends and it's still 1-1.

Winning games with the ridiculously few good chances the Comets get on their few shots is a real challenge.

Carried the puck all the away in from outside the Right circle and buried it. Turnover by the Amerks at the Comets blueline and Clarke broke back with Willman. Clarke passed Willman the puck as he was challenged.

Parent a shot from the high slot after a faceoff deflected wide.

Criscuolo just throws pucks into the slot when he has no pass.

Thompson a shot from between the circles stopped.

Ibragimov turns it over and Poulter has to bail him out.

Comets trying to play D and win it by playing D. Not a good idea. Rochester ia flying.

Willman in with Clarke trailing. Willman drops it in the slot and Clarke waits to shoot and turns it over to the backchecker.

As so often happens when a team blows a great chance, the other team goes the other way and scores. A save by Poulter but the rebound is hammered home.

A goal here would put the Comets in dire straits. Inside 7 minutes.

Dineen just can't learn. He has been trying to get the Comets to protect leads as soon as they get them in the 3rd period for 3 seasons. Maybe something in how he teaches it because it hasn't been very successful in any of the 3 seasons.

Amerks aren't thinking protect in any way. They are taking it right to the Comets!

Can't get back into a game when you can't get out of your own end. The Comets haven't had a serious rush since 3rd Amerks's goal. 3:46 to go.

Comets win the draw. Clarke gets it on the right side. Then turns it over again and the Amerks are out of their zone. Clarke just can't handle the puck!

Tokarski holds on on a shot from the corner by Willman.Good pass to Misyul at the point and he whiffs. Puck all the way down and the Comets hold it on the end boards until the buzzer ends regulation.

Comets have lost both OT games so far.

Rochester has been good in OT.

Willman kept pace scoring his 4th.

Parent reminds me of Yanni Gourde. They have very similar playing styles.

Little known trivia... Yanni Gourde attended the Comets first ever training camp in 2013 hoping to earn an AHL contract but was cut by Travis Green. He ended up catching on with Worcester when they still had an AHL team and then moved on to the Syracuse Crunch later that season on an AHL contract and eventually a NHL contract with the Bolts. Gourde was almost 22 when he was cut from the Comets camp so Parent is ahead of him on the development curve.

He has a good amount of KHL experience but I don't think calling him up will solve much. Hopefully Miller is returning soon.
