The bar was pretty low, but much better opening period than yesterday. Not perfect, but much better. Got fortunate on the Eichel breakaway, but other than that not giving up a lot of chances.

Soiled my shorts... most fun period of the season. Got a chubby watching these guys take it right back to them with pace and offensive skill. Looking forward to a doppelganger fight with Englund and McNabb.
