This one should come down to a battle between the middle six lines. Cirelli and Paul vs Danault and Dubois. Kings will have to win the 5v5 matchups to be competitive. Vasilevsky is beatable a lot of nights this season, so an early lead should stand up if the team is playing their game.

Tampa is 1st in the league in 5-on-4 goals. But they're only 17th in the league in 5-on-5 goals. Keep them from scoring on the PP and you probably win the game.

Yea, my first thought was also special teams, but I kind of feel they cancel each other out. Should be a good game if the stars show up for each side.

Imagine if Blake traded him on the best offer, if it’s a 7th rounder. I also like a bit of speculation stated as fact.

‘You’ have to think something is going on behind the scenes. However if that’s the case then other teams are most likely aware also… it’s usually the way.

Please. Keep Lizotte line 4 (rotate a top 9 player with Lizotte and Lewis every 10 minutes of 5 on 5) and do not move him up on lines 1,2,3.
Last goal, Dec 23. Last 26 games. 0 Goals, 2 Assists. How does this warrant moving him up on lines 1,2,3 ? Energy + Hard Work + Can't make plays or score and just survive each shift = Liability.
Go ahead and count how many good plays he makes tonight. O or D. I counted 1 last game. Keeping the puck live in the O zone for 5 seconds (and losing it or falling down and getting up) does not count as something good. 4 minutes TOI. Please.
