I don't think there was anything I would have called against them. The Kings penalties were all blatant. I prefer letting them play.

Its a tough situation. He needs the minutes, the team needs him to get acclimated in order to progress, but he is terribly outmatched in his zone right now.

So if they want to prioritize winning over just making the playoffs, they play him 16 minutes now so he takes his lumps and the team is better for it next year and going forward. Alas, they want 5-6 games of the postseason now.

In the worst year of Dubois buyout we still gain $4.7 million. He has been absolute brutal. I was a fan of the trade to start, you look at a young massive center Mann that can skate and has put up 30 goals season and you believe he might get even better. He comes to LA and retires before the first year of his contract is done.

Hey. I am allowed to dream. I gave the guy a half a season to show he belonged and he is brutal. I have no problem trading that package they did to get him, but it should’ve been for a left defenseman and a goalie though.

My new hopes are that Turcotte is still on the team after the trade deadline. I like the way his game is starting to evolve and we will need good contractor to help balance a couple of the bloated contracts on this roster.
