Not expecting much honestly. This team is hit with the injury bug, 3 key players out just hoping for points. Back end of a back to back just be competitive I guess.

I’m sorry to say but Kempe was not moving the needle one way or another. He’s been invisible and a non factor pretty much the whole season. Only reason he’s producing is because he’s on the first line. At no point did I watch Kempe this year and thought individually he was getting shit done. In the pre season he was on fire until he got injured and hasn’t been the same since.

I don’t see any reason why Kaliyev, a sniper, can’t take his spot and at worse produce a little worse than him.
Kempe leads the team in scoring with 51pts.

Kempe has been waaaaaaaaay more impactful than Fiala, who you are always quick to defend on here.

For a team that lacks high-end offensive talent, losing a player who averaged 38 goals the last two seasons and was leading the team in scoring this season is indeed a big loss.

Can already see “we need more from Turcotte” when he plays 6 minutes repeatedly feeding Lewis who never met a crest he didn’t like and JAD who is going for the hard-around from The slot
Team is struggling to score and you scratch a kid that will blow your mind if you let him. The pairs are scrambled eggs regardless ..and Moverare is not much of a defensive improvement over Clarke.

Who's fattest on the team? I'll type "pork" when they score.

I'm not too optimistic about the Kings having a puncher's chance in the playoffs at this point, if they've lost one of their scoring fists. (And I'm not a "just get in the playoffs and magic can happen" kind of person anyway).

Blake must have felt a lead balloon in his gut when he saw Kempe skating off the ice holding his arm the other night and probably got to work on updating his Linked-In profile.

Stonehands! Impressive he didn't score that there.

I love Lewey but like 96% of the players in the league score there.
