I …. am…. The LA Kings!
Sometimes we are maybe good … sometimes we are maybe shit!!
Problem is that this team does not have a roster that:
a) Thinks like that.
b) Can do anything about it even if they thought like that.
Was the best game of last season. Danault fought a guy immediately after the guy hit Arvidsson hard. Durzi fought Hyman for Hyman's earlier hit on Byfield and then Lemieux fought Kostin--I think--which was just a message sending fight in the waning moments. They did a year ago in a statement game against Edmonton where there were three fights and from my memory the Kings faired pretty well. I was at the game. But yeah, that turned out to be an anomaly. It was a far cry from the snoozefest I attended in Edmonton in March that same year.
Then they played them again in LA less than a week later, did nothing about it again, lost, and got passed in the standings by them. Was the best game of last season. Then they played them in Edmonton while knowing there was a high probability of meeting in the first round. Let Anderson get concussed, did nothing about it, and got BTFO.
this is one of those games that has all the signs of it being a trap. Oilers are struggling, their practice today was very low energy. kings bounced back against the oilers recently. And now the oilers are looking to bounce back themselves. Kings can’t afford to play loose and wild. Need structure and forecheck. Any momentum early game gained by the oilers might wake them up.
That was the only game I went to last year. Got the tickets for free through the birthday club, but even then I felt ripped off. Waste of time and money (parking). Then they played them again in LA less than a week later, did nothing about it again, lost, and got passed in the standings by them.
Im trying to be hopeful that the low energy zombiefest vs. the Ducks the other night was the Kings looking past to the Oilers
But then I remember 40+ years of the Kings being Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown and I get the whiskey out
Get better soon. Praying its just mild.Tested positive for Covid today.
I'll probably end up falling asleep before the game but this should be an entertaining one.
Definitely Kempe. He gets very ... sandpapery when frustrated.how could I forget Kevin?! Yeah, he can be pretty dumb. I’m think Kempe. Crysaitl always becomes a hacking and whacking little B against Kempe.

McDavid is such a f***ing baby, is there a more unlikeable group of players than this Oilers team? They rival the 2012 Canucks.
*Toronto and Montreal would like a wordSame goes for their fans. Worst fanbase in the entire league and it ain't even close.
Which is exactly why the Kings will do no such thing.Might be the biggest game of the year. the Oilers are struggling and a Kings win would step on their throat when they are weak in 4 point game.
Please, do not leave NY alone.*Toronto and Montreal would like a word
