JAD has been playing well lately, not sure why so many of you don't want to acknowledge it. Miles better than what we have seen from Kaliyev.

But JAD isn't Kaliyev's competition, its the top 9 wingers. Too many of our top 6 wingers have 85 point talent, but 55 point consistency. You need the volume to make up for the individual shortcomings. When chasing a playoff spot is the priority, nobody is going to be deemed expendable to work in a one dimensional prospect who seems unwilling to take his chance.

JAD kills penalties, wins battles, blocks shots, gets pucks deep and honestly is involved in just as many scoring chances as Kaliyev. He is a perfectly fine 4th liner.
