Danault line a combined minus-11. And Fiala, who probably had more turnovers than the rest of the team combined, was third in time on ice.

Kopitar line the only one that was at least passable for the entire game, except at the end. I cried when 3 Kings couldn't win a board battle against one Sabres player.

Loved the different ways Byfield would clown opponents.

Kevin Fiala is a loser.

Pretty easy to see why two organizations weren't upset to move on from him. No team trying to build something can afford to have someone who goes into business for himself that much.

Sure, his edge work is world class. His vision and puck skills are stellar. But that isn't what makes you an asset. You cannot trust him to understand when you can't take a risk, and he displays that carelessness over and over and over.

That flashy style of play is an infection in this team. It has adandoned that hardened edge that allows you to win hard fought, tight games. The Kings were much better without him.

He gives a shit and he's productive. If the rest of the team was competent he would not take as many risks. Fiala is a top few forward this year and I don't give a shit about his turnovers when there are a dozen bigger problems
I agree for the most part but some were just stupid that led directly to two goals against.

The only teams worse than LA since New Years are Columbus, Chicago, and Anaheim, and Columbus has only played 8 games to LA's 11. This is not a joke. This is a very bad team.

We've been riding that insane road streak to start the season, but our record since November 1st isn't even good enough to be a playoff team.

I'd gladly take him on the Sens.

Fiala is one of the problems. And he's not outscoring the problems and mistakes he makes.

feels like one of those games where they didn't really deserve the result but foxy is kinda right about not deserving those 2 goals on levi

couple of those sabres shots were absolute bullets post-in so i can't be too mad at talbot either

Sharks have more wins this week than the kings do in the last three.

It's nothing short of pathological to take the 12th biggest team issue and harp on it like he has 2 own goals per game

While theyve been most consistent line, they've definetly haven't been the shutdown line we've know them for, if it's due to adding fiala

FIala is a symptom of a disease that started when TM was brought in. The players were sick of working hard. They wanted to have fun. They wanted to play pond hockey. Fiala plays pond hockey. He's 100% flashy. Because it's fun. Working hard isn't fun. Executing a good game plan isn't fun. It's work. This is the laziest team in the NHL.

One of the most self inflicted losses I've ever seen. There was no defense tonight, plus 40 shots given up. they were 1 goal away from running the guy. Ugh!
