That wouldn't be post worthy. Is that a lazy penalty, a pass to the other team for a goal, and an own goal?

Didn't know it's Kopitar night. Kopitar deserves it and all but it's a bit strange to do it while he's still playing. Surprise retirement?
this helps put it in perspective for me.There was a ceremony before a game in 2019 when Brown passed Taylor for most games played for the franchise. They gave him a watch and Dave said a few words and it was over in a few minutes.
Kopitar has now passed Brown (and also Dionne for most assists) so they'll probably do the same thing. Its not going to be like Brown's retirement ceremony.
I’ll stop reading this board before I cheer for the Kings to lose.I feel you man. There is a part of me that hates the non stop wallowing but there is another part that understands the value of being vocally critical of the leadership. If the fans don't care nobody will.
That said, I too find it difficult to root against the boys on any given day regardless of the big picture.
maybe it will happen at the same time.I’ll stop reading this board before I cheer for the Kings to lose.

only time to "cheer" for a lost is when the winning team gets a worst draft pick, (do you want the Ducks to get Celebrini?) or LA would get a better one by losing.I’ll stop reading this board before I cheer for the Kings to lose.
With PLD sucking, what horrible timing that would be but I get it.Didn't know it's Kopitar night. Kopitar deserves it and all but it's a bit strange to do it while he's still playing. Surprise retirement?
Too funny was just thinking the same thing. Didn't they celebrate 10,000 games played already? 1000 points? 700 assists? 36 and over but hanging on to dear life? Love Kopi he deserves all the accolades. But a bit too soon no? LOL.Why are they honoring Kopitar tonight? Seems odd to me.
When you're charging those ticket prices, you ave to have some connection to excellence when your on ice product is shit and loses most of its games at homeWhy are they honoring Kopitar tonight? Seems odd to me.
Plenty of premiere seats available on Stubhub for less than $70 a pop. When you're charging those ticket prices, you ave to have some connection to excellence when your on ice product is shit and loses most of its games at home
I've absolutely killed it on resale this season but the bottom drops out pretty fast when you get San Jose and Buffalo back-to-back on weeknights: especially San Jose on a rainy Monday.Plenty of premiere seats available on Stubhub for less than $70 a pop.
Would be interested to know if that ceremony was soon after the milestone for Brown because this one is months later and feels tacked on to a mid-week game against a low-interest visiting team during a horrible stretch of losses. There was a ceremony before a game in 2019 when Brown passed Taylor for most games played for the franchise. Big picture is I want the Kings to win. If they win enough games where they win the cup, I don't care about any past transgressions. They can still win games and see changes need to happen.Rooting for the team goes against the big picture though
It was the next home game, but it was also April so they didn't have much of a choice unless they wanted to wait until the next year. I'd also argue Brown passing Taylor was more highly anticipated than Kopi passing Brown as silly as that sounds. For Brown it was a milestone that epitomized his career, for Kopi it was just inevitable.Would be interested to know if that ceremony was soon after the milestone for Brown because this one is months later and feels tacked on to a mid-week game against a low-interest visiting team during a horrible stretch of losses.

If they lose, I try to console myself by trying to bright side it. But I'll never feel right hoping for failure for the players on the ice.
I'm afraid of what you'll do if I'm naughty though, big boi.Stop trying to be good all the time
