But it’s pretty clear PLD just was never taught/never developed checking work. You would think that’s something we could instill if he gave a shit

The way he feebly reaches for pucks and exerts no leverage just looks like a guy who dominated lower levels and never had to think about it, sort of like Q’s flybys as a rookie

I’ll pick the low hanging fruit: Byfield line looks fine. They get pinned in below the dots a bit but if/once they break out of that, they look good. Keep QB there for a bit.
